We are excited to share the latest enhancements deployed to Invent Medical! This update introduces advanced prescription clinical decision controls, customizable medical printouts, enhanced procedure and teeth chart workflows, active device management, and new financial reporting views.

💊 Prescriptions & Clinical Decision Support​

  • Prescription Diagnoses & Signing Requirements:
    • Prescriptions can now record specific diagnoses linked to the patient's active diagnostic profile, with an automatically designated or manually selected primary diagnosis.
    • Added an optional encounter setting requiring a primary diagnosis before a prescription can be signed (draft saving remains allowed).
  • Accelerated Medication Entry:
    • Added a Confirm & Add Another action to the medication entry window, keeping the modal open and displaying previously added line items for faster entry.
    • Optimized contraindication checking to process all added medication lines concurrently.
    • Added a duration field directly to prescription lines with start dates defaulting to today.
  • Clinical Decision Support Policies:
    • Introduced configurable Clinical Decision Support levels within Encounter Settings (Strict, Auto, and Off).
    • Custom drugs without linked generics can now be prescribed immediately. Users are prompted directly for dose form, route, and dosage, with options to save updates to the master drug entry without navigating away.
  • Improved Overlap Verification:
    • Refined duplicate medication checks to analyze overlapping treatment courses rather than single-day active status.

🖨️ Medical Printouts & Document Formatting​

  • Granular Printout Customization:
    • Added configurable toggle flags on document templates to customize printed medical outputs:
      • Patient Details: Dynamically toggle birth date, age, address, mobile, phone, national ID, and allergies.
      • Prescription Line Items: Control display of controlled status, dispense as written, dosage, frequency, route, dispense quantity, refills, course dates, instructions, and notes.
      • Display Options: Toggle generic name layout priority and course duration display in days.
      • Letterhead Support: Optionally hide company logos, details, and footers to seamlessly support clinics printing on pre-printed letterhead paper.
  • Compact Layouts & Multi-Page Signatures:
    • Streamlined prescription printout layouts by single-sourcing prescription reference numbers and provider details while suppressing blank values.
    • Configured signatures, practitioner stamps, and notes to repeat at the bottom of medication tables across every page.
    • Ensured encounter printouts properly display signatures captured via encounter signature inputs.

🦷 Procedures & Teeth Chart​

  • Procedure Creation & Quick Actions:
    • Adding a procedure now prompts for the procedure template first before opening the entry form.
    • Added quick-action buttons on procedure cards and lists for rapid one-click procedure entry.
    • Introduced procedure settings to define default initial treatment statuses and automatically send completed procedures directly to billing.
  • Bulk Operations & Charting Controls:
    • Enabled bulk selection on the teeth chart to complete or send multiple unbilled procedures to billing simultaneously.
    • Selection states automatically reset when switching patient records.
    • Restored proper chart effect copying from template labels and defaulted new procedure templates to the service type.

📅 Appointments & Schedule​

  • Expanded Status Lists & Recall Management:
    • Added dedicated Cancelled and No Show / Did Not Attend views directly within the appointment navigation menu.
    • Enhanced recall lists to display patient numbers, and added a dedicated Family Recalls view under the patient sidebar.
  • Duration Retention & Schedule Performance:
    • Adjusting appointment start times now automatically updates end times to preserve appointment length when duration is unlocked.
    • Optimized schedule setup lists to prioritize current schedules and approved leaves.

💳 Billing & Financial Analytics​

  • Account Movements & Statement Ranges:
    • Introduced a unified Account Movements Summary view tracking transactions by type (invoices, credit notes, payments, adjustments, applied amounts, and running balances).
    • Added date range filters to account movements with quick presets (This Month, Last Month, This Year).
  • Package Utilization & Fund Transfers:
    • Integrated detailed redemption breakdowns directly into the main packages list view.
    • Fund transfers now display patient profile details alongside remaining balances for source accounts.
    • Ensured claims payment method selections, line-item tax calculations, and partner merging perform accurately.
  • New Reports & Detailed Analytics:
    • Introduced the Patient Invoice Analysis Report.
    • Added patient age and national ID columns across all reports, and expanded the Appointments Report with detailed demographics (gender, marital status, country, contact information, and insurance carrier).
    • Accelerated loading performance for the Provider Payroll report.

🛈 Referrals & Forms​

  • Referral Destinations:
    • Scoped facility selection lists strictly to referral destinations, with support for creating new destination entries on the fly.
    • Defaulted referring provider fields to the current active user.
  • Form Data Retention:
    • Enabled automatic retention of unsaved form edits and procedure notes during background session refreshes.

📑 Documents & Lab​

  • Clipboard Image Capture:
    • Supported pasting images directly from the clipboard into patient document folders.
    • Enhanced document trees, lists, and grid views to display creation dates and descriptions.
  • Lab Status Timestamps:
    • Expanded laboratory order and result lists to display key lifecycle dates (Order Date, Collected, Received, Reported, Signed, and Completed).

👤 Users, Devices & System Settings​

  • Active Device Tracking:
    • Optimized device limits to strictly count active sessions, preventing user access lockouts from inactive historical logins.
    • Added a My Devices management tool allowing users to name devices, view browser/OS details, inspect IP addresses, and trigger a Sign Out All Other Devices command.
  • User Experience Polish:
    • List tables now remember user-selected "Rows Per Page" preferences across sessions.
    • Patient import templates now include enabled external reference fields.
    • Expired subscriptions now trigger clear overdue invoice alerts.
    • Medical.bh alert notifications can be toggled off independently per user from the MBH drawer.
