We are excited to share the latest enhancements deployed to Invent Medical! This update introduces individual provider time-off scheduling, native Medical.bh booking management, package pricing updates, encounter archiving, and expanded reporting capabilities.

📅 Schedule & Provider Availability

  • Individual Provider Time-Off:
    • Added dedicated per-employee time-off configuration in the schedule setup alongside public holidays.
    • Individual time-off displays on the appointments calendar and schedule overview, and automatically gets excluded when searching for available openings.
  • Slot Time Visibility:
    • The appointments calendar now explicitly displays slot times across calendar views.

🌐 Medical.bh Integration

  • Native Booking Management in Invent Medical:
    • Medical.bh bookings are now handled directly inside Invent Medical. The old standalone booking tool is no longer needed, as core booking capabilities have been fully integrated into the platform.
  • Working Hours & Calendar Syncing:
    • Added a Follow Working Hours switch that enables providers or locations to automatically follow structured working hours rather than manually typed schedules.
    • Providers follow the schedule of their linked employee profile—including personal time off and calendar public holidays—while locations follow their assigned working hours calendar.
    • While set to follow working hours, schedules are locked against manual edits both within Invent Medical and the Medical.bh admin portal.
    • Any updates made to working hours, employee time off, public holidays, or calendar time zones automatically sync to Medical.bh in real time.
  • Booking Status Timeline:
    • Booking details now feature a complete status timeline tracking the original patient request date, clinic receipt timestamp, and all subsequent status updates.

🦷 Procedures & Teeth Chart

  • Multi-Tooth Charting Flexibility:
    • Enhanced arch, quadrant, and sextant procedure charting directly from both the procedure form and teeth chart by selecting a representative tooth.
  • Procedure Restoration & Package Allocation:
    • Archived procedures can now be restored. If package credits were reallocated while archived, the procedure restores outside the package balance.
  • Note Authorship Display:
    • Preserved historical author attribution on procedure notes created by archived users.

📝 Encounters, Forms & Prescriptions

  • Encounter Archiving & Default Notes:
    • Any patient encounter can now be archived or restored, and archived encounter templates can be reactivated.
    • Added a default treatment plan note configuration setting within Encounter settings.
  • Enhanced Card Details & Sorting:
    • Encounter and form cards now display the specific time and attending provider.
    • Patient forms are automatically sorted chronologically by date.
  • Prescription System Polish:
    • Refined prescription details and data mapping for prescription records.

💳 Billing & Financial Analytics

  • Package Pricing & Discount Allocation:
    • Procedures fully covered by a package now explicitly display a zero-unit price.
    • The Provider Collections report accurately allocates global discounts across provider collections.
  • Expanded Report Data:
    • Added procedure code categories to the Price List report.
    • Added National ID, Mobile Number, Planned Date, and Created Date columns to both the Production Income and Insurance Claim Overall reports.
    • Formatted discount representations correctly within the Daily Procedures report.
  • Tax Calculations & Payment Plans:
    • Corrected total price recalculations when updating line-item taxes on invoices.
    • Ensured numerical exports avoid long trailing decimal zeros.
    • Standardized payment plan handling when no subsequent due date is specified.

🛠️ General Improvements

  • Visit history details (Last Visit and Next Visit) now display exact timestamps.
  • Preserved leading zeros for provider identification numbers across all profile views.
